Prestolite
The predecessor of Prestolite Electric was establieshed in 1909. After various transformations and acquisitions (Lucas CAV, Butec, Leece-Neville, Indiel, Motorola Generators) the company reached its current structure.
Prestolite Electric Incorporated produces alternators and starter motors. The application range of their products covers many vehicles from passenger cars to locomotives, but the most important product line is the heavy duty vehicles (trucks, buses, etc.). They are supplier of many well known brands.
Their factories are located in the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Argentina, and China. They earned ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 quality certifications. In Nort and South America their products can be found under brand name Leece-Neville, while Prestolite is used in other countries.
